Meet Dr. Powell
Dr. Powell is a dentist in Hickory, NC with a passion for excellence when it comes to comfort and superior results for his patients. With steady hands and his unique set of skills and techniques from over 25 years of practicing dentistry, Dr. Powell has combined his training as a medic in the Green Berets during his time in the service along with his time spent at the UNC Dental School at Chapel Hill where he completed his rotations with honors. He continues to advance his skills through continuing education where he received the coveted “Fellow” in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction that only a small percentage of dentists nationally have achieved. Dr. Powell also participates in a local dental study club where hands-on participation is encouraged and he has been chosen “Dentist of the Year” more than once through this prestigious organization!
