Over 25 Years of Experience
Dr. Powell first began the Hickory Dentist practice when he moved his family to the Viewmont area in 1975. By placing a high value on patient comfort and continually seeking the best care techniques and treatment options available, Dr. Powell along with Hygienist Susan McLain and Dental Assistant II Nancy Murphy quickly developed a reputation for going the extra mile.
In 2020, Dr. Hanigofsky, a longtime patient of Dr. Powell’s, joined the practice as an associate dentist. He later purchased the practice from Dr. Powell in 2024 as Dr. Powell began his partial retirement. Today, Dr. Hanigfosky and Dr. Powell still offer that same warm and welcoming experience coupled with the most advanced dental healthcare treatment options available.
